Preparation for Cambridge exams

FeM Learning Hub is an authorised Cambridge English Preparation Centre.

This means our school is recognised by Cambridge University Press & Assessment as an institution that prepares candidates for the Cambridge English Qualifications, the English certifications recognised worldwide by universities, companies and public bodies.
We prepare children from the age of 6, teenagers and adults, in small groups or through one-to-one courses.

Why choose an authorised preparation centre

Not every English course that promises certification is the real thing. Accreditation as a Preparation Centre means that Cambridge formally recognises the school, its materials and its teaching programme.

For those studying with us, it means three concrete things:

·         Official and updated materials, aligned with the current exam formats.

·         Qualified teachers, with CELTA certification and specific training in teaching children, teens and adults.

·         Real exam simulations, so that on the day of the official test there are no unpleasant surprises.

Courses by age group

Young Learners (6/10 years – variable range): Starters, Movers & Flyers 

The first Cambridge exams are designed to be a game, not an assessment. We work on phonics, storytelling, listening and comprehension, and the children and teens arrive at the exam having already encountered it several times in the form of activities that cover the 4 skills (Listening, Speaking, Writing & Reading).

·         Pre A1 Starters, the first contact with the certification

·         A1 Movers, structured reading and writing are added

·         A2 Flyers, the bridge to the KET, PET, FCE exams.

Teenagers (11/17 years – variable range): KET, PET, FCE

The pathway that accompanies the middle and high school years, useful both for school credits and for university.

·         A2 Key (KET), the solid foundation for learning a second language.

·         B1 Preliminary (PET), the level required by many universities for access.

·         B2 First (FCE), the most requested certification in Italy, valid for university credits and competitions.

Adulti e professionisti

Percorsi individuali o in mini-gruppo, anche online, dal livello A1 al C2. Oltre alle Cambridge English Qualifications prepariamo anche all'IELTS, per chi deve studiare o trasferirsi all'estero.

Piccoli gruppi, sempre

Nelle scuole statali i progetti Cambridge coinvolgono classi numerose, e l'attenzione che ogni studente riceve si riduce di conseguenza.

FeM never exceeds a maximum number of participants per group, even in exam preparation courses. It is a choice that costs us in terms of available places, but it is the reason why our students arrive truly prepared .
